Thoughts from the morning sermon — June 14, 2020

Text: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. (Psalm 23:5, New King James Version)

In this hostile world, bountifully fed from our Shepherd’s table in safety, our Shepherd having already triumphed over our enemies, are you living out of the fullness of Christ’s bounty or still wandering in a wasteland, feeding on a table of your own choosing, rather then according to His Word? Are you living as one anointed or filled with the Holy Spirit, and overflowing with Christ? Let the Holy Spirit lead you to feed on Christ, such that Christ overflows out of you.
